Val H. Stieglitz

Dr. Stieglitz has been in practice for more than 30 years and has assisted numerous Chinese companies with their U.S. legal affairs for more than 10 years. He holds a J.D. from the University of South Carolina and has spent much of his career assisting foreign companies in U.S. affairs. His main fields of practice include litigation, arbitration, contract enforcement and legal risk management. He Chairs his Firm’s International Group and its China Practice Group, which includes China-licensed counsel and has provided a wide range of services to Chinese companies (for example, litigation, M&A, IP, customs/trade, and immigration.). Dr. Stieglitz has been recognized as a Best Lawyer in America in the field of Commercial Litigation and has also been recognized as a South Carolina Super Lawyer. Since 2007, he has been a regular guest speaker at professional conferences in China, making presentations in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Chongqing, Chengdu, Jinan, Qingdao, Suzhou, Wuxi and other locations.
