Mr. Wang started his career as a lawyer after graduating from university. During more than 10 years of practicing as a lawyer, he is mainly engaged in legal services related to banking, PPP, infrastructure and construction engineering, real estate development, and corporate M&A. Over the years, he has provided high-quality legal services for many large state-owned enterprises, listed companies, and foreign capital banks. Mr. Wang has provided dedicated legal services for a large number of projects that are each worth billions of RMB, and successfully acted as an attorney at law in a series of major tricky lawsuits that are each worth hundreds of millions of RMB, thereby effectively protecting the interests of clients.
In the sector of infrastructure investment, Mr. Wang provided dedicated legal services for the Chengdu-Mianyang-Leshan High-speed Railway Project (with a total investment of more than RMB 40 billion), designed a transaction structure on behalf of the main investor Sichuan Railway Investment Group Co., Ltd. and local governments and platform companies along the route, drafted a framework legal document, and participated in the negotiations in the whole process. Mr. Wang also provided dedicated legal services for major infrastructure projects such as the Sichuan Yanjiang Expressway BOT Project (with a total investment of more than RMB 80 billion), the GuangAn Ring Expressway BOT Project, and the Xuwei Expressway BOT Project.
In the sectors of land investment and PPP projects, Mr. Wang provided dedicated services for many regional development projects such as Chengdu Jintang Tianfu Shuicheng New Area, and Chengdu Huashuiwan Hot Spring Development Town. These projects cover investments and transactions in correlated fields such as primary land development, real estate, hotels, education, medical care, and cultural tourism. Mr. Wang also participated in the due diligence and transaction structure design of an acquisition project whereby Sichuan Provincial Investment Group Co., Ltd. acquired a large-scale water environment PPP group (whose Cayman-based company intends to be listed in Hong Kong).
In the financial sector, Mr. Wang provided legal services such as pre-lending investigation, financing plans, and lawsuits for large financial institutions such as HSBC, Bank of East Asia, Hanhua Guarantee, Chengdu Financial Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Development of Asset Management Co., Ltd.
