Mr. Lu holds an LL.M degree and J.D. degree of Case Western Reserve University in the U.S. During the period of overseas study, he provided legal services on a cross-border iron ore acquisition for Cliffs Natural Resources, Inc., the largest iron ore company in the United States. After graduation, he obtained New York bar admission and a New York real estate broker license, and engaged in legal services with respect to real estate transactions and commercial property leasing and trading in New York, U.S.
After joining ZHH, he obtained a Chinese bar qualification specialized in legal services with respect to cross-border investment & financing and other legal services in the international business department, and participated in a number of multinational investment & financing projects, for example, the acquisition of the Nasdaq-listed company UT Starcom by the Liangjiang Strategic Fund, the transaction whereby Jinke Holding Group Co., Ltd. purchased the increased-capital shares being issued by a Nasdaq-listed company, the investment in the shares of a South Korean listed company by Jinke Holding Group Co., Ltd., the acquisition of a South American Mining Company by Bosai Group, the investment in a U.S. solar energy project by PowerChina Guizhou, the investment in a Florida real estate project by a Chinese group company, the investment in a Manhattan real estate project by Anhui Xinhua Media Co., Ltd., the investment in a California company by Chinese Southwest Securities Company, issuance of U.S. Dollar bonds by Sichuan International Investment Holding (Hong Kong) Limited, the investment in a Melbourne real estate project by Sichuan International Investment Holding (Hong Kong) Limited, soliciting a U.S. theme park by a platform company of Chongqing Municipal Government, the investment in an overseas project by Chongqing Guoxin Ruicheng Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., and assisting Guangdong Mingyang Wind Power Industry Group Co., Ltd. to issue legal opinions of a U.S. subsidiary in support of listing. Mr. Lu is also a retaining legal counsel to some listed companies and large companies such as Kangda Environment Protection, Niccolo Hotel, Maliu Industrial Park, and Haipai Fitness.
