Mr. Shao pays attention to combination of theory and practice. He was hired as a lecturer at Southwestern University of Finance & Economics and the Party School of Sichuan Provincial Committee of C.P.C Committee, etc, and was invited to lecture at Peking University School of Government, the state-owned assets management system of Sichuan Province, Chongqing Urban Construction System, Beihai land system, and Sichuan Railway Investment Group Co., Ltd., and was highly acclaimed by the participants.
1.In terms of theory, Mr. Shao has a solid theoretical foundation of civil and commercial laws, specializes in the research on the company laws and the land system, and is good at writing decision-making reports and examining legality of government behaviors.
Mr. Shao has been trained in law and economics, and has a solid theoretical foundation. His professional papers are published in core journals such as Reform, Company Law Review, and Macroeconomic Research. Mr. Shao published monographs Interpretation of the Company Law, Corporate Governance and Financial Strategy in the Post-Financial Crisis Era, Research on Innovation of Realization Mechanism of Peasants' Land Property Rights and Countermeasures Thereto, etc. at the Law Press and other publishers. Mr. Shao has been in a position in the government departments and courts in Chengdu and Beijing. He is familiar with the procedures of the governments and the courts, and the style of the decision-making advisory reports, and is good at decision-making think tank research.
2. With respect to legal practice, Mr. Shao has served as a legal counselto CPC committees and government departments, and a legal and M&A counselto a number of large enterprise groups, and has extensive experience in practice.
He is highly recognized as a legal counsel to the Chengdu Municipal CPC Committee, Chengdu Municipal Government, Sichuan Provincial CPC Committee, Sichuan Provincial Government, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He also serves as a legal and M&A counsel to a number of large enterprise groups, and has developed rich experience in equity investment, contract review, and dispute resolution and other sectors. Mr. Shao is good at handling M&A, restructuring, bankruptcy and related corporate businesses, and is familiar with IPR legal affairs such as trademarks, patents and copyrights.
