Mr. Zheng joined ZHH in 2001 and is committed to legal services such as cross-border investment and financing, M&A, restructuring, and capital market transaction structure. During the career, Mr. Zheng not only provides legal services for the projects of investment made in China by Fortune 500 companies, such as ChangAn Ford, ABB China, Goldman Sachs Asia, and domestic financial platforms of large international investment banks, but also provides comprehensive support for foreign-related investments and transactions made by government departments and large Chinese companies.
In the M&A field, Mr. Zheng participated in the negotiations between the Chongqing Government and Shui On Group on a large development project with a total investment of RMB 10 billion in the Hualongqiao area, and was responsible for drafting a framework legal document. In the fund field, Mr. Zheng provided legal services for the establishment of the Strategic Emerging Industry Development Fund of Liangjiang New Area (with a total amount of capital of RMB 23 billion), provided legal services for the structured design of investors, and was responsible for drafting and revising a full set of legal documents.
Mr. Zheng also sorted out relevant foreign-related financial innovation policies for the Liangjiang New Area, provided advice on the policies of foreign-funded small loans, financial leasing, foreign investment factoring, consumer finance, cross-border PE, etc., and provided dedicated service to many domestic customers with respect to cross-border financing and round-trip investment projects.
